Make a bush craft hatchet

In this video, I have taken three inexpensive Vaughn style carpenters hatchets and turned them into good Bushcraft hatchet. These three hatchets ranged from $19-$22 each. They had thin bits which work well for Bushcraft hatchets as they need to be sharp for carving and cutting poles. There are Bushcraft hatchet that are close to $200 that don’t do the work any better than these well for a fraction of the cost. these can be built by handtools alone or power tools with a little care not to take the temper out of the metal.
