Make a Modern Triangle Runner, Sewing Machine Quilting, FREE Tutorial

Hi everyone! Come along with me as I show you how I cut 60° triangles using a variety of rulers, how I sew the triangles together, as well as how I quilt on my home sewing machine with two different quilting styles. I include tips on cutting, piecing and quilting, as well as binding with 60 degree angles. You will see two pattern layouts created in this video tutorial. Plus, pictures of other triangle table toppers I have made, as well as a sweet little triangle baby Quilt. I hope this video tutorial will help you in creating a triangle table topper, table mat, table runner, baby quilt, or even a larger quilt! I will list details and measurements of the table runners I created in this tutorial below. Happy sewing! Table Runner with two Borders - I sewed 26 triangles into two rows. This measured approximately 9 1/4” x 36 1/2”. I added a 1 1/2” inner border and a 2 1/2” outer border. The final size finished approximately 15 1/4” x 43 1/2”. Wide Table Mat used 48 triangles. Row one had 11, row two had 13, row three had 13 and row four had 11 triangles. Finished size was approximately 18 1/4“ x 36 1/2“.
