ABOUT THE VIDEO
This video we finally get into lighting. Or start to. We're going to write our own custom shader to handle Minecraft style lighting, so brace yourselves if you've never played with shader code (HLSL) before.
We only get a very basic lighting system working in this video, it's more about laying the foundation for the next video, but I do throw a little temporary shadow system in at the end so it doesn't feel entirely like nothing was accomplished.
