Make Solid Body Scrub Bars That Are Also SOFT & FLUFFY!

Today I'm going to show you how to make solid scrub bars. This recipe is so simple and this project is so easy. Do the math* → https://www.buymeacoffee.com/creativebathlab Sieve dry ingredients together. For multiple colors, divide the mix, add powder colorant to each, & mix them well. Heat the liquid phase until just melted, then stir in fragrance. Pour wet ingredients into dry & mix thoroughly. Lay down parchment paper. Press the first color into a compact square. Add the next color; shape it to match the previous layer and compact it. Repeat for additional colors. Firmly compress the stack into a tight, even, compact square. Use the paper to fold the square over in on itself and pull the paper down tightly. Roll the log forward slightly, then pull the paper tightly across the entire length to compress the entire log. Also, compact the sides with each full turn. Continue with this process until you create a tightish log. NOTE: The dough will NOT hold a [tight] shape if it’s warm. The dough molds best once the butter has thickened and the soap starts to set. Soo… Chill the log in the fridge for about 10 minutes, re-roll it tighter and into the final shape, then freeze the log fully – about 1 hour (to minimize breakage during slicing). Add mica or eco glitter to the exterior before slicing. To cut slices, use a large, sharp knife & push it straight down. To package them, Place a bar into a shrink-wrap bag, seal it, cut the extra off, heat the wrapping until it tightens, then add a label.
