Judges - "In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes." During the time of the Judges was a chaotic time in Israel's history. Israel had forgotten the God was their King. After the time of the Judges the people wanted a King, other than the LORD. They picked Saul, God picked David whose offspring - King Jesus who was the King that did what was right in His eyes.
