Lost Power Cord? Make Your Own Tool. We had a power cord get jammed in a chase during a job — and normally, that would’ve been a real problem. But instead of stopping the work, we improvised. Using a simple piece of straight rod and a wire bender, we fashioned a custom retrieval hook on the fly. A quick fix with what we had on hand. Sometimes the best tool is the one you make yourself.
