Making a Dead Blow Mallet

Since i made my very first mallet a year ago, i wanted to try to make a Dead Blow version that looks more finished. A month ago on a flee market i found some lead shot so the time has come to make it! The handle and the "body" are made from reclaimed Plum wood, and the caps are Hornbeam from firewood. I finished it with some Boiled Linseed oil, and its 31 Oz or 810 gram's. Yeah its quite heavy.
