In this video I make a drilling guide for a small portable drill from a ball bearing drawer slide. I need to thread some holes in plastic for another project I'm working on which requires a drill which can do reverse. None of my other drill presses have a reverse so I decided to use a portable drill. The stand is made from plywood. I removed the ball bearings that are used for the drawer member of the slide as well as removing the draw member itself. So only one set of ball bearings are left in the slide. I had to print the drill attachment a second time as I did not allow enough room for shrinkage and as a result the first time the drill chuck didn't fit through the hole.
