Hand planes are great to use and not so bad to look at, too. I'm making a tool wall to organize my messy basement work area, and getting these planes out of a few drawers and into secure holders where they're in easy reach and in plain view.
These are easy to make, and the design seems more than adequate to safely keep these old planes from falling. The wood came entirely from my scrap pile, so other than a little glue and brads, it was basically free.
A keen eye would notice that three of the pictured planes aren't Stanleys. They're... Harbor Freight (gasp), but they are actually pretty useful, and one was easy to modify into a scrub plane.
For those of you that find my video editing skills sub standard and my voice irritating, well I guess I'd have to agree with you!
