Making a MICRO-microKORG - Saving this classic synth!

In this video I try to save a broken microKORG synthesiser. This has a damaged keyboard so this part is removed to create a modular/rackable version. I know this has been done before but I haven't seen someone keep the control wheels on the front. I would be interested in if you think this is a good idea, and if Korg released a version like this, would that interest you? Also what are the best patches you have made or found?
