In this tutorial and build video I show how you can make a cool MIDI string instrument, which can work either as a ukulele or a bass guitar. I make two different versions, both with four "strings", one almost exclusively made out of recycled materials, and one with 3d-printed string sensor parts. All the 3d-models for the printed parts are here: https://www.youmagine.com/kontinuumlab/designs If you want more details on how to calibrate and play the KLIK string instrument then check out the companion video for this instrument, which you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wh-i5nwkDrk This is the third video in the KLIK tutorial series. In this series my main focus is on showing you how to use the KontinuumLAB Instrument Kit to make all of the different instruments that come preinstalled on the microcontroller within the kit. You can buy the kit here: https://www.kontinuumlab.com/shop This video doesn't talk about coding or uploading code, because you won't need to if you own the kit. However, the sketch for this instrument is available for download. If you have the skills for it, then you should be able to make this instrument without the kit, by sourcing the sensors and materials elsewhere. The code is available for download here: https://github.com/KontinuumLab/KontinuumLAB_Instrument_Kit See you in the Kontinuum!
