Making A Retractable Scribe on my mini metal lathe from brass rod and a sewing needle. My old scribe which I made about 5 years ago has been an invaluable tool in my workshop. However it has seen a lot of wear and the nail tip has been dropped more times than I care to tell, so it is time to replace it with an improved design.
