Just following 3 of my attempts at making a salt bridge or an electrolytic membrane for future electrochemical synthesis experiments. Using vegetable gelatin seems to work exceptionally well for this, while a clay membrane just falls apart unless it is fired beforehand. I'll end up using these designs for projects such as salt-splitting, acid recovery, and synthesis of sodium hydroxide and nitric acid.
