In this video, I made a Scandinavian style sheath for the file knife I recently finished (see that video here: https://youtu.be/zpJLw68001Q )
I built this with very little knowledge regarding typically Scandinavian sheaths, so there are likely errors. Some consistent features I've seen in these sheaths that I tried to copy are the stiching/seam placement, overall shape, and interior wooden sheath that houses the blade.
I am not a leather-worker, so that doesn't help me much either!
