For years I've contemplated making apple pie moonshine and finally decided to just do it. Boy, am I glad I did! It is delicious. They say to let it sit before you really get a good flavor out of it, but I say make a lot so you can begin sipping on it right away.

Modifications: I added a 750 ml bottle of both vanilla vodka and spiced rum as well as used 1/4 tsp allspice and 1/4 tsp nutmeg in lieu of apple pie spice. I also used a whole cinnamon stick for every jar (I got 13 qts from this).
