Making Fluffy Bannock

The bannock recipe we are using comes from Connie and Lonnie of Far North Bushcraft & Survival. We're making two recipe changes: Adding 1 tsp of sugar, and adding more water. It's super easy and tastes yummy. You can change it up by adding different spices like Italian seasoning or pepper. The bannock is also good with toasted pine nuts or sunflower seeds. Fresh blueberries are also incredibly wonderful in it. Far North Bushcraft & Survival - bannock video (the recipe is in their video description): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkU1SJ4dNV0 WOO's BANNOCK RECIPE 1 cup flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 tablespoons powdered milk 1 teaspoon sugar hot water Directions: Mix the dry ingredients. Add hot water to make a dough of the consistency you want. For the fluffy bannock we add water until the consistency is like a very thick batter (as seen in the video). Fry in butter over medium to medium-high heat until it is golden brown. Flip and cook until the second side is also golden brown.
