Making Peace with “I Don’t Know”
Acknowledging and naming 'I don't know' with others, even those we are supporting can still create a bridge for trust and authentic connection if we are mindful, intentional and clear about what we mean when we express that. It is important to consider that 'I don't know' can be open or closed in its quality of insinuation... i.e - I don't know but I am open to learning more OR... I don't know and i'm not willing or don't have the capacity to explore further right now NB: Discernment around this disclosure in relation to cultivating an atmosphere of safety and stability must be considered particularly if the person we are supporting is vulnerable If you would like to learn more about how Holistic Voicework can support you to cultivate Confidence, Wellbeing and Creativity, please visit the website and see a range of resources for you to begin exploring: https://lisemitchellnoble.com/ Stay connected with us on socials @ truevoicecreations #teaching #facilitation #helpingrole #support #knowledge #spaceholding #connection #authenticity
