Making Pneumatic Vise / DIY
Please turn on the subtitles! Hello, This is Kynosys. In this video, I filmed the process of making a vise using an air cylinder. Whenever I used a vise, I tried to make it mechanically or pneumatic. The process of biting the boards with a vise was annoying. In this video, you can see how to use air cylinders and aluminum blocks and how to use manual air switches. I made the cylinder's administrative distance 100mm, and I'm going to make additional products that can move about 300mm later. You might wonder if you really need to automate the vise. In my case, I find it difficult to answer such questions because I enjoy the process of making them. The comment as like this was actually posted on the video of making a fan-type dust collector. "Can't you just buy a dust collector?" There are two representative opinions about mountain climbing. The first one is, "We should have come down. Why would we go up there?" The second is, "We go up because there's a mountain there." When I was young, I couldn't understand either. But now I think both opinions make sense. It's not a matter of right or wrong, but I think it's a personal preference that's determined by various factors. If you enjoy DIY, you can enjoy it and make it. I hope you can keep that in mind.
