Welcome back to the Abbie Cakes YouTube channel! Today I'll be showing you this gorgeous spring cakesicles tutorial! I really love the soft pastel colors that remind me of spring, so these cakesicles are perfect to add that spring vibe to any occasion. I'll be using a 4 different fillings to create 4 different flavors of cakesicles! I hope you enjoy this video and don't forget to comment down below which cakesicle filling is your favorite? Instructions for the fillings: - Oreo truffle dough: Crumble a handful of oreos into fine crumbles (no large pieces should remain). Combine with 1-2 tablespoons of cream cheese (or more as needed) to reach soft dough consistency. - Brownie dough: crumble brownie (homemade or store bought) into a dough. Depending on the type of brownie you have, you need to add cream cheese or buttercream. Ours did not require the addition of anything to achieve the right dough consistency. - Peanut butter dough: Crumble soft peanut butter cookies with 1-2 tablespoons of buttercream to create a dough consistency. OR, you can make a Peanut Butter Dough this way: Melt 4 tablespoons of butter with 12 ounces of peanut butter (the Jiff or Skippy kind is best for this recipe- not the natural oily kind). Stir until you have a thin consistency. Set aside. Mix ¾ cup graham cracker crumbs with 1 cup of powdered sugar. Combine the two mixtures together until well mixed. Chill for at least 1 hour before using. - Cake dough: Crumble a baked and cooled cake. Combine with 1-2 tablespoons of frosting to make a dough consistency. Add in sprinkles. Instructions: 1. Prepare the fillings. 2. Using desired colors, add melted candy melts to silicone mold, spread around with popsicle stick, paint brush or spatula to cover all sides. Chill in the fridge or freezer until set. Repeat a second coat of candy melts. 3. Add fillings to molds, leaving enough room to add a final coat of candy melts that can be scraped flush with the mold. 4. Insert popsicle stick. 5. Add the final layer of candy melts over the dough. Scrape with offset spatula, popsicle stick or bench scraper flush with the mold for a clean finish. 6. Chill in the fridge or freezer until set. 7. Remove cakesciles from mold by peeling the mold away from the cakesicle. Be gentle! 8. Decorate! :) Links to products: Cakesicle Mold: https://amzn.to/3GjneJs #Cakesicles #PastelCakes #CakeIdeas
