In this video I will show you how I make simple springs & can be made consistently by hand. I used my wood lathe to make it easier to spin the piano wire around the threaded rod, but it could probably be made with only the threaded rod held in a wise or with the help from another person. These are clearly not the best way to make springs but it was good enough for what I needed at the moment.
