Malachi

The book of Malachi stands as the final prophetic voice before the 400 year silence that was broken with the coming of John the Baptist. It is a book of covenant confrontation — God addressing priests and people who had grown careless, cynical, and indifferent to His Name. This song follows the structure and message of Malachi 1–2, capturing the Lord’s own words of rebuke, grief, and unshakable sovereignty. It speaks of polluted offerings, corrupted teaching, broken covenant, and the weight of divine judgment — yet it also declares the unstoppable truth that God’s Name will be great among the nations, from the rising of the sun to its setting.
