Mansman Tech - The Predator

An enormously versatile and distinctly voiced British distortion that shines between mid to high gain sounds. The presence and resonance controls help adapt this high gain monster to any amp with their wide EQ curve. The bass and treble are active, emphasizing mids as you reduce these 2 controls and cutting mids when turning them up. Combined with the resonance and presence controls this helps you find your sweet spot for mids and keeping it as resonance and presence don't affect the center frequencies. There is a trim pot inside to control the amount of gain. Turn left to decrease gain and right to increase. I set them with the trim pot a quarter turn to the left of center as this increases the usable mid gain range of the circuit while not sacrificing the liquid lightning saturation of the higher end of the available gain spectrum.
