Mapping Pakistan Inflation Network | Discrete Structures Project

Hi I am Umair Zia and this is my digital portfolio. I am a Computer Science student at FAST NUCES and this is our project for Discrete Structures. My group members Asad, Sarfraz, and I built a mathematical network analysis engine to track how inflation actually spreads across the consumer market in Pakistan. Instead of just looking at regular line charts, we used matrix math and Cosine Similarity in R to find out which items act as the main hubs for inflation. We processed over 65000 data points from 17 cities to see how the center of the economy shifted over the last three years. To prove our math we also built a live interactive React dashboard on Vercel to test our limits and filter out market noise.
