This is a quick and easy technique for all skill levels! Materials and equipment used are listed below after the steps. STEP 1: start with a sanded, cleaned and spray painted cup. Find it here: https://www.crafthaven.com/20oz-Traditional_p_26.html 🖤 use code FLYNNSISTERS for 10% off! STEP 2: Mix 10-15ml of epoxy depending on the size of your cup. We used 15ml for a 20oz traditional style tumbler. Once epoxy is fully mixed, stir in a small amount of Snow Confetti, Brite and Lovelace glitter - all from PeachyOliveGlitters.com. You can use any kind of mixed size white glitters but these ones are so sparkly and beautiful! STEP 3: Spread the glitter epoxy mixture over the entire cup and allow it to turn on your cup turner for at least 4 hours. STEP 4: Mix 60ml of epoxy. With your cup on the turner, spread 20ml of that epoxy onto the cup and divide the remaining 40ml of epoxy into 6 medicine cups. Make sure you put a little more epoxy into 3 out of 6 medicine cups - those fuller ones will be the ones we use to mix the paint colors and the white epoxy dye. STEP 5: Mix your mica powders, rose gold leaf foil, paint colors and epoxy dye into the medicine cups (full supply list below). STEP 6: Using a gloved hand, apply the white dyed epoxy first using a dash pattern randomly around the cup. Allow that to turn for a couple minutes. Then repeat that for the nude and teal colored epoxy. Allow the cup to turn with all the colors on it for 3-5 mins. STEP 7: Using a silicone brush (find here: https://amzn.to/2Ux3g8t) apply the mica powders and rose gold leaf in fine lines for the “veins”. STEP 8: Watch the movement in the colors on the cup for a minute and remove any “pooling” of color you might see that looks a little too heavy. Be careful not to disturb your mica “veins” or the other colors too much when removing the “pooled” up areas. STEP 9: Allow this to fully cure on the turner, then remove and sand any rough areas and start applying final coats of epoxy to finish the cup as you’d normally do it.
