Hello and welcome to module 3 of The Ultimate Google Analytics 4 Course For Beginners! In this module, we'll be discussing basic reporting in Google Analytics 4. By the end of this module, you will have a clear understanding of the basic reports available in GA4, as well as the key metrics and dimensions you'll be working with. Metrics and Dimensions Before we dive into the reports themselves, let's talk about the key metrics and dimensions you'll be working with in GA4. Metrics are the numerical measurements of user activity on your website or app, while dimensions are the attributes that provide context to those metrics. Key metrics you'll be working with include pageviews, users, sessions, bounce rate, and conversion rate. Basic Reports GA4 comes with a range of basic reports that you can use to track user activity on your website or app. These reports include the Audience report, Acquisition report, Behavior report, and Conversions report. We'll be going into each of these reports in more detail in the upcoming slides. The Audience Report The Audience report provides you with information about the visitors to your website or app. This includes demographic data such as age and gender, as well as interests, behavior, and technology used to access your site. The report also includes information about your users' engagement with your site, such as session duration and bounce rate. The Acquisition Report The Acquisition report provides you with information about how users are finding your website or app. This includes information about which channels are driving traffic to your site, such as organic search, social media, or paid search. The report also provides information about the behavior of users who find your site through each channel, such as bounce rate and session duration. The Behavior Report The Behavior report provides you with information about how users are interacting with your website or app. This includes data on the pages or screens users are viewing, how long they are spending on each page or screen, and how they are navigating through your site. This report also includes information about how users are interacting with specific elements on your site, such as buttons or forms. The Conversions Report Subtitle: Understanding how users convert on your website/app The Conversions report provides you with information about how users are converting on your website or app. This includes data on the conversion rate, revenue generated from conversions, and the specific actions users are taking to convert, such as filling out a form or making a purchase. By understanding your conversions, you can optimize your site to improve the user experience and increase your revenue. Filtering and Segmenting Data Subtitle: Using filters and segments to gain insights In addition to the basic reports, GA4 also allows you to filter and segment your data to gain deeper insights into user behavior. Filters allow you to focus on specific data points, while segments allow you to isolate specific groups of users. By using filters and segments, you can gain insights into how specific user groups are interacting with your site and optimize accordingly. Recap In this module, we covered the basic reports available in GA4, including the Audience report, Acquisition report, Behavior report, and Conversions report
