The Grundlsee bicable cargo detachable cableway was built in 1951. It transports materials from the open-pit mine to a plasterboard factory. The drive is mainly gravity, so very little energy is used. There is a turning station (without disconnecting the cars from the hauling cable) and a tensioning station for the track cable. In 2017, the ropeway was put into service again after a renovation carried out by the Swiss company BMF Bartholet.
