We look in depth at the Mathematica Plot and ListPlot commands. This will be useful in understanding more advanced types of Mathematica visualization, because all the plotting commands have a similar structure. We also look at how to do curve fitting, and show different plots simultaneously. In particular we discuss: how to plot curves, how to change plotting options like color, and curve style, how to use ColorFunction, how to label an axis, how to manipulate curves dynamically, how to plot lists, how to show continuous and discreet plots at the same time, how to fit polynomials to data sets, and how to fit more general curves to data (using prime numbers as an example). https://sites.google.com/site/richardsouthwell254/home
