Tiles are a simple and physical way to manifest mathematical weirdness such as aperiodic patterns, fractal patterns, and pseudo-randomness. I talk about the wild history of aperiodic tiles, then introduce a couple of tile sets of my own.

The tile sets I demonstrate in detail are: Penrose Tiles, tiles that form a Sierpinski Triangle pattern, and tiles that behave like Wolfram's Rule 30 elementary cellular automaton.
