Max 7 Tutorial Simple Standalone App Creation

Max 7 can now create standalone applications! Now you can give your app to any computer (with or without max/ maxRuntime) This is how to make a simple one. Things to note: the final app file size will be somewhat large because Max 7 automatically includes all externals (even ones you've manually added to search paths!) and therefore is less efficient with space BUT it makes it A LOT easier to export seamlessly. Another thing to note: Max 7 exported apps do have issues when developing for cross platforms (i.e. windows, linux) so you may have to do some research to correct any issues.
