In this tutorial we learn about using "val" in the right inlet of jit.op instead of a video. By using "val" we create a uniform window by adjusting the color sliders. Yes, it is like creating a video that is only one color! But, the advantage is that you can play off that color with the other video using jit.op's various mathematical functions on each of the four color planes.
