'Papa Roach: Forever' YES BEST THUMBNAIL THANK YOU YOUTUBE! :D So, let's talk about Life Is Strange. I hope you brought your reading glasses cos this is gonna be an essay. XD Episode 5 for Life Is Strange came out in October, and I was desperate for it so I could start this video. Way back around the time when three was out, I predicted the ending to the game, and I was 100% right. I knew you'd have to go back in the photograph and sacrifice Chloe (don't talk to me about the token 'Sacrifice Arcadia' ending... just no :P), and every time the feels caught up to me as I pictured Max having to leave Chloe behind, the bridge of this song was playing on a loop. "One last kiss... before I go... dry your tears... it is time to let you go..." The song couldn't be more accurate, and that kiss though omigosh... the PASSION! The LOVE! The FEELS! :D Life Is Strange is a wonderful game. I know people have issues with the visuals and the cheesy dialogue, but underneath all that is a game with the guts to talk about some issues and raise some questions. It brought to life a wonderful protagonist in Chloe Price (who I may or DO have I crush on XD). Max... eh. Max, to me, has the delivery of wet cardboard and a personality to match. I never thought she was anything special, but she was exactly who she needed to be for the game. And, granted, her delivery did improve a lot by Episode 5. :) And THAT SURREAL SCENE. 0_0 As a film student, I LOVE the surreal, and when it went all Donnie Darko on me... YES! :D Mr Shitterson... I think I'm the only one who didn't see that coming. WELL IT SEEMS OBVIOUS NOW. He was creepy in class, but I was too busy enjoying his lesson to pay any attention to the undertones... :/ Overall, Life Is Strange is a great game and you should definitely pick it up. There's yuri, if there's any incentive. :P I'm a huge Pricefield shipper, as you might have guessed. :D Regarding the style of the video, you might have noticed how minimalistic it is compared to my regular style. That was so the attention could be focused solely on the characters and the story. I allowed myself one little bit of text and voices, but nothing else. It would have taken away from the meaning of the video. :) Also, a full-length song WHAT?!?!?!?!?! :D STORY: The song is sung from Chloe's perspective. She's reflecting back over the past week, and over her life in general, and how Max fits into all of this. She knows that she loves her, even if she can't fully comprehend exactly what she's feeling right now, the subtle tones of love are there. That feeling only grows, but unfortunately fate intervenes and the error that allowed Chloe to live for those five days has to be corrected. She has to sacrifice herself for all the innocent lives in Arcadia Bay. It's the only way. She doesn't want to leave Max. She doesn't want to leave at all, but she knows she has to. But no matter what, her feelings for Max will be forever... Note: This video would have come out sooner, but it was taking so long to edit and I wanted it to be perfect cos it means so much to me, so I thought I'd have it as my special Christmas video of the year. :) Last year it was Karai, now it's this adorable couple. :) I don't own the rights to the video or audio.
