Maxwell's Wheel, Experiment EXPLAINED AND PERFORMED

This experiment can be performed to examine the conservation of energy at the Maxwell’s wheel. In this experiment, potential energy is transformed to kinetic energy due a translational motion and a rotational motion. Readings for 'time' (t) and 'velocity' (v) are taken at different heights. From the data colleceted, one can determine the inertia of the Maxwell’s wheel. After knowning inertia, one can calculate the gravitational acceleration.
