Sometimes I start a video with one intent and it turns into a whole other training session, the camera keeps rolling so I just keep talking 😂 If you’re bored or patient or both there are a few good gems of knowledge in there that others have taught me that sort of make it worth 20 minutes of your life you’ll never get back 😂. I decided to post this mostly for Taz’s mom so she has a reminder of things to continue to work on with her and how I might go about doing it. Taz is a little more worried on her right eye and flappy things will probable be a concern that needs to be continually worked with for a long while. So even a year down the road when she’s a true riding horse, it’s still something I would constantly check out. The goal not being that she stands frozen but that she can confidently relax and move forward with whatever the scary item might be. For the next 6 months or so I’d be purposely checking this out and working through it everytime before I got on her. It’s a great way to work through any worry or jitters that may not be on the surface and to see where her mind is at, sometimes working them through a bit of worry (not causing worry on purpose, just checking to see if it’s there and work through it) can really help remind them that they can count on you to help them through it.
