MasarahLovys! Monday recap for you! We got home pretty late so the kids stayed home today. Khi and I were up and preparing for his appointment this one required him to be fully examined so they could determine what needs to be done. When we got there the staff was pretty cool and very respectful. And I actually came across one of my babies who works there that was a nice surprise. Now during the process the doctor walked me through all the procedures and the steps. And you already know I am one of those moms who does not believe in a crown. So he said if he can do a filling he will do the filling. And if there is anything else in Khi’s mouth that needs to be handled he will take care of it during the procedure. 🙏🏾 He also informed me that he was not going to put a spacer in. The dentist had made it seem like a spacer was going to be necessary but this doctor declined it. And honestly? I am not tripping about it. Because he made a lot of sense. The child is young. He is growing. None of the teeth in his mouth are permanent right now they are all temporary and they have to come out anyway. He does not want to make Khi’s transition a bigger deal than it needs to be. The goal is simply to make sure the teeth with cavities are protected. And I respect that. 🙏🏾 Now if I feel like the tooth is growing crooked down the line then I will go back and revisit the spacer conversation. But for right now we are good. That is how our trip went.
