What if, instead of distancing myself from my people, I could find a way to rise together with them? Why should I have to sever ties with my family in order to progress in life? Can't I find a way to uplift those around me while still achieving my goals? People often say that to succeed, you must cut ties, hide, and isolate yourself, but what about the power of community and support? What about the fact that many people have achieved success thanks to the help and guidance of others? Even if I were to disappear and start anew, wouldn't my destiny still be intertwined with those around me? Doesn't a higher power ultimately have the final say in the things that are beyond our control?
