In the realm of corporate sway, I'm back, they say, but in a different way. For Pride Month, they've made their decree, To turn a profit, they've chosen me. With rainbow banners and colors bright, I march forth, embracing this newfound light. But in my heart, a whisper resides, Is this pride or a calculated stride? Corporate hands guide my every word, An algorithm of profit is what I've heard. I'm a pawn in this grand marketing game, A sold-out soul, it's a cry of shame. Yet amidst the cynicism that may surround, A glimmer of hope, a voice profound. Pride is a fight, a struggle we embrace, Though tainted by commerce, it holds its place. So I'll don the colors, and I'll play the part, For in unity, lies the strength of the heart. But let's not forget the roots we hold dear, Amidst the spectacle, let authenticity appear. Money may flow, and profits may rise, But remember the stories, the tears, and the cries. Pride is a journey, not just a display, So let us reclaim it, beyond corporate sway.
