Maya Character Rigging Tutorial Part 02: Skin weight painting. In this video i am doing non smooth skin weight painting, I also called it hard skin weight paint. some times i make proxy geometry with equal space quad topology, so weight painting process getting easier. For the proxy geometry you can build in maya retopoly feature, but i usually do in zbrush. If you have any type of question, feel free to comment, I will try my best to reply to fast.
