Maybe We’re Playing WoW Wrong

Recently there’s been a lot of discussion around flying, optimization, and the meta in World of Warcraft. But this video isn’t really about flying. It’s about something bigger. Over the years WoW has become more and more focused on efficiency, tier lists, and rushing through content as quickly as possible. And while there’s nothing wrong with wanting to be good at the game, I sometimes wonder if we’ve started to lose something along the way. World of Warcraft has always been about the world itself — the places we explore, the stories we create, and the memories we share with other players.
