1994 Maze was one of the central parts of "and other curious question" our third piece with Gill Clarke. It is based on a maze which appears in a Martin Gardner book. Lyndsey Butcher tapes the maze onto the floor during the piece. There was also a recorded metronome which does not appear here. The juggling is based on 3 or 4 of Gill's movement phrases, which are rewound, slowed down and reversed.
