MCCA Tiny House Documentary

During the 2025–2026 school year at Metter College and Career Academy, students in Mr. Blake Jeffers’ Construction Pathway accomplished an extraordinary hands-on achievement by designing and building a house from the ground up. The ambitious project provided students with real-world experience in construction, teamwork, problem-solving, and career-ready technical skills. Documenting this remarkable journey was Sophia Crooms, Class of 2026, during her third semester in the Audio Visual Technology & Film Pathway taught by Mr. Tony Lescak. Through her documentary filmmaking efforts, Sophia captured every phase of the project—from the early stages of planning and construction to the final finishing touches—showcasing not only the craftsmanship of the Construction Pathway students, but also the dedication, collaboration, and innovation that define career and technical education at Metter College and Career Academy.
