One of our favorite rides (and favorite burgers) is the 265 mile McCall Loop. Starting in Meridian, Idaho we head out Highway 55, north to McCall. Plenty of varied scenery and road types, and not much traffic this early in the season. We’ll skip it when the summer tourists are out in force, but right now (early May) it’s excellent. After lunch at the McCall Brewery we head back south on Highway 95, going through New Meadows, Council, Cambridge, Middle, Weiser, and Payette. From there we head over to Emmett and Highway 16 over the hills to home. Favorite non-food part of the trip? It has to be the curves downhill from McCall to New Meadows!
