Meet Ginnie Conley
©Hawkins Foundation 2012 Ginnie Conley was a three-sport athlete in school, and was the captain of her Field Hockey, Gymnastics and Track teams in her senior year. Since then, she has committed her life to training herself and others. She was a Field Hockey referee for 15 years after high school. In college, she interned at the US Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid,NY, where she worked for the US Bobsled and Skeleton Federation. Since graduating from school, she has been a Fitness Director at a YMCA, and a manager of two corporate fitness facilities inNew York. Looking to get back to the "hands-on" side of fitness, she worked as a fitness instructor at the prestigious Canyon Ranch resort inLenox,MA. During her 5 years there, she trained and led classes to resort guests, including celebrities, famous musicians, and foreign royalty. Most recently, Ginnie has found her niche working at ASI with "exercise medicine" patients. She does private sessions with people afflicted with Parkinson's, MS, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and stroke patients. She finds the most joy in working with people to give them back a quality of life that has eluded them due to injury or illness. Her Certifications include: NASM CPT -- Personal Trainer Certification,NASM Weight Management Certified,NASM Youth Certified Trainer, NASM PES -- Performance Enhancement Specialist, NASE Speed and Explosion specialist
