Meet Grant Murdock

Meet Grant Murdock! Grant is a Utility Worker I with the City of Morgan Hill, specializing in repairing and fixing water pipes and valves. For the past two years, he’s been a vital part of the team, tackling leaks big and small—from household issues to street-wide repairs. Growing up, Grant’s love for digging in the mud and working with his hands turned into a passion for underground construction. He’s part of a hardworking team that he describes as a “band of brothers,” always ready to tackle challenges together and keep our City flowing smoothly. Outside of work, Grant is a devoted family man who enjoys cheering on his daughter at high school sports, surfing the waves in Santa Cruz, and spending time with the family’s adopted dog. Grant also dreams big! His goal is to bring a wakeboarding-themed water park to Morgan Hill, creating a space for families and kids to enjoy the outdoors together.
