The bottomhole assembly (BHA) is a piece of equipment at the lower part of a drillstring. The BHA is composed the assembly of drill pipe, sophisticated instruments, & pipe. Put together, there are bit, stabilizers, reamers, drill collars, MWD or LWD devices, motors, measuring equipment, & other specialized devices.
