Once upon a time, I went on tour with Jewel. One of our shows was on Halloween night and I decided to dress as a bee and sing my favorite Blind Melon song. (If you went through the 90s like I did, you know about their famous music video, where the star was a little girl dressed as a bee..) Anyway- I practiced this song all day long and decided to play it for the first time in front of 1000+ people. I learned a lot on that tour... How to hold an audience as a ONE woman show, how to yodel, and how to take chances, even if you’re nervous as hell. Thank you Jewel for letting a little potato open up for you... I hold that part of my life so close to my heart.
