Electronic yarn feeder: Latest sensor technology, easy to handle PROMOFEED is designed to feed elastic and non-elastic yarns on seamless-, hosiery-, socks-, flat knitting- and large diameter circular knitting machines. It is the latest version of MEMMINGER-IRO’s tension controlled yarn feeding devices. Thanks to the high dynamic motor in combination with the latest yarn sensor technology, nearly all kind of yarns which are applied for fashion or technical fabrics can be processed. PROMOFFED can be operated for simple applications in the so called simple mode. For more complex applications, an advanced mode is available. This ensures a simple handling of the unit which supports the correct operation and therefore a high acceptance of the knitting machine operator. Advantages: ■ Simple or advanced operation mode selectable ■ Constant yarn tension to ensure an even knit structure ■ The yarn tension can be set from 0,5 cN up to 100 cN and will be shown in the display ■ Integrated graduation function. The yarn tension can be increased or decreased in 0.1 cN steps ■ Yarn tension real time monitoring by oscilloscopic function in the display ■ PROMOFEED measures the exact yarn consumption (LFA function)
