The unit circle is a core concept for trigonometry and calculus. You will use it to find sine, cosine, and tangent values, to measure angles in radians, calculate coterminal angles, and more.
At some point or other, your teacher/professor is going to want you to memorize the unit circle. Intimidating, I know! But not impossible, especially when you start to see the pattern(s).
Want to practice filling out the unit circle at home? You can find dozens of free blank unit circles to print online, or you can sketch one by hand. (When I was memorizing the unit circle, my notebook was full of hand drawn and slightly wonky looking unit circles.)
