Messenger | Loading and Saving Patches

In this video, we take a look at how to load and save patches on Messenger. Messenger contains 16 banks of 16 patches for a total of 256 available patch slots. Banks 1-15 are sorted by type of sound (see the user manual for reference), and bank 16 is reserved for user patches. Here, we explore some of the instrument’s built-in presets, such as the bass sounds of bank 2, keys of bank 9, and drones of bank 13. To begin making our own sound, we can bring up an initialized patch in bank 16 or hold PANEL to initiate a patch. Then, we look at how to save our sound and how to audition patches to make sure we know what we’re overwriting.
