The travertine had been improperly sealed, leading to a frustrating situation. Previously, a film-forming sealer was applied, but it didn't hold up and began to delaminate. As a result, dirt, weeds, and all sorts of debris became trapped beneath the surface, creating an unsightly mess that the customer did not want to address.
We cleaned the surface added new sand and sealed, looks great compared to what we came into.
Film forming should not be used on Natural Stone.
