Metal Gear Solid 2: Subjective Truth

It tells me to have faith in my own ideas and perspective, and not to let someone else's ideas change mine. There will never be a 100% objectively 'right' analysis of MGS2, or any work of art for that matter. Art as a whole is about the inherent subjectivity of human thought, not about finding out exactly what everything is *supposed* to mean. Because of this, the only person who can disprove your subjective ideas about the world is yourself. The music in this essay is from the Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 3 original soundtracks. I can't believe I finally managed to get this one out after countless iterations of the essay, and at least 30 hours of recording and editing. Thanks for sticking with me guys. Hopefully the video itself will serve as evidence, but I can't express in a mere description just how important this essay, and this game, was to me. If you want to buy the PC port of MGS2, I would recommend the PS3 port in the big boss collection or the MGS HD Collection. Both can be found on eBay.
